 Sr. Joan DiRienzo, MPF, Principal
I was born in Tuckahoe, NY, where my mom still resides.
I attended our parish elementary school: Assumption School. I attended Our Lady of Victory Academy in Dobbs Ferry, NY and Villa Walsh Academy in Morristown, NJ
I received my AA degree from Assumption College for Sisters; a B.A. from Felician College in Lodi, NJ; an MA in Religious Studies at St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia, PA; and I hold an M.S. in Education from Fordham University.
I have been a member of the Religious Teachers Filippini since 1973 and have ministered in schools in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.
I am fortunate to have been the principal of St. Bernadette School here in Brooklyn for the past eight years and I look forward to many more years ahead.
