- Solemnity of Saint Joseph - Pope Benedict XVI has determined for the Universal Church that this year the Solemnity of Saint Joseph is to be celebrated on Saturday, March 15, 2008.
- Memorial of Saint Patrick - Bishop DiMarzio has determined that in the Diocese of Brooklyn this year, the Memorial of Saint Patrick is to be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2008.
